Clint Losch (Founder and SNG Poker Coach)

Clint graduated from Lafayette College in 2006 where he double-majored in Math and Economics and played baseball. After college, he went to work as a financial planner for four years and gradually transitioned into the online poker world in 2010. Since then, Clint has been a sit n go grinder on Full Tilt (well, up until Black Friday), 16-tabling the 18 and 45 man SnGs as losched16.

In early 2011, he decided to start coaching SnG poker players. You can learn more about him and his coaching from his personal coaching site, www.CrushtheDonks.com. Clint has coached over 30 SnG players since February 2011. In addition, he hosts a weekly group SnG poker study session, which has drawn the interest of over 75 players, and manages a Skype group of 50+ SnG players. Clint is a SnG poker coach for Team Moshman, Coachingtokens.com, and is an approved coach on Cardschat.com. Read some reviews and comments from Clint’s current and past SnG students.

In 2010, Clint was approached by his friend, college roommate, and now business partner, Matt, and was offered a stake to play higher limits. From that initial conversation, the idea for Strategic Poker Investments was developed. After researching the current poker staking environment, Clint realized that most staking arrangements are done between strangers and virtual handshakes through the forums. Many times, these staking arrangements were not organized or properly managed. As a result, Clint decided to utilize his background in finance and experience as a successful online poker player to create a business structure that allows for a professional and streamlined poker staking experience for both players and investors.

In addition, Clint will be available for poker coaching for all staked SnG players. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Matt S. (Co-Founder)

Matt graduated from Lafayette College in 2006 with a Business and Economics degree and played baseball for the Leopards as well.  Like many others, he picked up poker during his freshman year of college. Poker soon became a major part of his life as it was played on roadtrips and throughout his college years. Within the year, Matt made his first deposit into Party Poker and became hooked. Matt's early success on Party Poker allowed him to buy his first home. He now plays live cash games when he visits Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Delaware Park.

Upon graduating, Matt began working for KPMG, one of the Big 4 Accounting firms, in Philadelpha. He worked as an auditor for two and a half years before deciding that accounting was not for him. Matt made the transition to medical sales and began selling orthopedic braces in the Philadelphia suburbs in the beginning of 2009. Since then, his job has moved him to Baltimore, MD where he was one of the top salesmen in his company in 2010. Matt is an avid golfer and sports fan. He recently married in May 2011 and currently resides in Towson, MD with his wife Mackenzie.
